FAQ

Description: There are two Cold Lakes, Upper and Lower.  At 80 acres lower Cold is deep and well within the Mission Mountains Wilderness. There is no maintained trail from Lower to Upper Cold Lake.

Directions: Turn on to Cold Lake Road, between mile markers 46 and 47, Highway 83. The road to Cold Lake trailhead is seven miles and well marked. The first five miles are well maintained. The last two miles to the trailhead are rough, yet passable for any vehicle. The parking area at the trailhead can accommodate 15 vehicles.*
