Description: The trail to Glacier Lake is a premier hike in the Mission Mountains range and provides some of the most delightful scenery in the Mission Mountains
Directions: The trail is easily accessible by way of a USDA Forest Service road. Turn onto Kraft Creek Road, mile marker 37, Highway 83. Follow the gravel road 11 miles to the trailhead. The road is kept in good condition. The parking area is large and can accommodate 20 vehicles. Drinking water is not available; pit toilet is located near the parking area. The parking lot may have several cars, but not all of the visitors will have Glacier Lake as their destination. The Glacier Lake Trail comprises the lower section of trails that lead to Crescent Lake, Heart Lake, Island Lake, and Turquoise Lake.*
