Description: The trail to Glacier Slough is an ideal walk for those who want to experience the Swan Valley at a stroll. Even during the heat of the day the forest keeps the trail cool.
Directions: Turn on to Lindbergh Lake Road (USDA Forest Service Road 79) between mile markers 34 and 35, Highway 83. Travel three miles and follow the road toward Lindbergh Lake Campground when the road forks. At 3.5 miles turn right at the sign direction you to "Trailhead" and "Bunyan Lake". Check your odometer and drive an additional 0.5 miles to the trail. The trailhead is at the tight left turn in the road and is marked with a small, rustic, obscure sign reading "Glacier Slough Trail No. 481." There is parking for five vehicles at the trailhead.*
