Directions: From the intersection of Highway 200 and Highway 83, go north to Boy Scout Road, between mile markers 19 and 20.  Turn left (east) for about a mile to Fawn Creek Road (Forest Service Road #4349).  From there, turn right (north) and travel four miles to Lake Elsina Road (Forest Service Road #465).  Turn left (northwest) and follow this road about 6 miles. Stay west (left) at the "T" intersection and continue two miles further to the lake.

Elevation: 6,312 ft.

Lake size: 160 acres                                         

Land ownership: National forest

Facilities: None

Boating regs: Standard boating regulations for the state of Montana.

How to launch: Launch anywhere along the shore on the east side of the lake.

Description of paddle: This is a small mountain lake high up near the Jocko divide. From the shore, it's a tranquil float or paddle around the lake.

Potential issues: This area receives a lot of snow, and because of the moisture, the mosquitoes are ferocious through much of the summer.
